A tennis bracelet you never open
The classic tennis bracelet has a clasp, and the clasp is its weakest point: Chris Evert lost hers in the middle of a match. This bracelet has none. A titanium spring runs inside, and each link is guided on it individually. You slip the bracelet over the hand, it draws together and sits. On in the morning, off at night, without looking.

The Titanium Spring
The titanium spring
Inside the links runs a spring made of titanium, invisible from outside. It gives way when you slip the bracelet over the hand and draws it back together on the wrist, the same every day. Titanium hardly fatigues, does not corrode and does not react with the skin. No box clasp, no safety catch, no dead side: the bracelet is set all the way round and looks the same from every angle. The only thing that harms the spring is overstretching, which is why the right circumference matters. 17.5 centimetres at rest is the standard, any other circumference is made on request.
Slip it over the hand, let go. The bracelet finds the wrist by itself, no clasp, no looking.
The bracelet follows every movement, sits without pressing and never turns a clasp side up. Nothing catches on a sleeve or a watch.
The spring covers about three circumferences. Two or three bracelets stacked, in one gold colour or mixed: without a clasp, nothing interrupts the line.

For him all in black: black rhodium-plated gold, black brilliants, matt and without a sparkle that asks for attention; a bracelet worn under the cuff and never taken off. A stretch bracelet is available at many addresses, and most of them compete on price. What you get is a series piece in a standard size, chosen by nobody, and the question of colour and clarity is answered by a form.
With me, a person buys the stones, and that person is me. I see the lot before it is set, examine every stone singly and lay them so that the bracelet holds the same white from end to end. On a bracelet without beginning or end, every outlier shows twice.
Then the setting: the stones must sit in line and true, each at the same height, each on the same axis. Let one tilt and the bracelet flickers unevenly instead of running as one light. The difference lies with the setter, and I have worked with the best for years.
