What a private jeweller actually does

No boutique, no brand markup, no sales floor. A private jeweller works for one client at a time – sourcing the stone, designing the piece, overseeing the workshop, and staying discreet throughout.

The stone first

A boutique sells you what is in the window. I start with the stone: sourced for you, at the source when needed, shown to you before anything is made, with an independent certificate from GIA, SSEF, Gübelin or GRS.

One pair of hands

The same person who finds your stone designs your piece and stands next to the goldsmith who makes it. Nothing is outsourced to a brand supply chain. That is why no two MXHM pieces are alike.

Discretion

Surprises stay surprises. Ring sizes, appointments, deliveries and budgets are handled quietly. Some of my work never appears anywhere – and that is exactly the point.

A design conversation at the atelier table

How commissioning works from abroad

Most of my international clients never set foot in Munich before their first piece. We begin online, with the stone in front of the camera – you see it move in the light, which tells you more than any photograph. Sketches and decisions travel by email or WhatsApp. For the moments that matter, I come to you.

Private viewings take place wherever suits you: Munich, Zurich, Paris, Milan, New York, Connecticut, Ibiza, Sardinia – or online. Worldwide, by appointment.

Who this is for

For people who do not want Cartier or Tiffany on the box, but the right stone in the ring. For collectors redesigning an inherited diamond into something contemporary. For anyone looking for an old-fashioned family jeweller with contemporary taste.

Let's talk

Every piece begins with a conversation

A first conversation is free of obligation and entirely confidential. In Munich, wherever you are, or online. No catalogue, no sales team.
