5TH GENERATION
Gustav Korff, ancestor of Maximilian Hemmerle, founded the Bijouterie Company G.A.Korff in Hanau in 1837.
1893 HEMMERLE
Joseph und Anton Hemmerle took over an already established goldsmith-company in Munich, specialized in the crafting of medals. Their most important costumer was the Bavarian royal family. The brothers renamed the company into „ Gebrüder Hemmerle“ and developed their own, unique crafting style. Soon, the prince regent of Bavaria granted them the title “Bayerischer Hoflieferant“, meaning they provided the highest quality in Bavaria for the royal family itself.
1920 RENÉ SIM LACAZE
The French master jeweler René Sim Lacaze is Maximilian Hemmerles Grandfather (Father of his Mother from Paris).
From 1920 to 1970, he was one of the most influential jewelry designers in the world, setting highest standards in worldwide Haute Joaillerie, creating unique and outstanding pieces for Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Sterlé, Boivin, Cartier, Harry Winston and private customers like Grace Kelly or the Duchess of Windsor – a goal worth chasing.

1937 Carl Hemmerle, Son of Anton Hemmerle, took over management of the company.
1960ies - 2000
INTERNATIONAL RENOMÉE FOR GEBRÜDER HEMMERLE
Franz Hemmerle, the next generation took over responsibility for the company. After a successful apprenticeship as a goldsmith and designer, Franz Hemmerle became a worldwide known authority of jewelry design throughout his time as manager of the store „Gebrüder Hemmerle“ in Munich. After 33 years, the brothers Franz & Stefan Hemmerle seperated their businesses.
2010 - 2018 RENÉSIM
Maximilian Hemmerle founded RENÉSIM and build the first and one of the most successful high online jewelers in Europe. The company was sold to investors. The century old and the new digital network built during Maximilians journey with his venture remains.
2018 FOUNDING OF MXHM
After 10 years of creating and managing a top jewellery brand and life long learning from his heritage Maximilian Hemmerle decided the most inspiring and fun is to create jewellery person to person. This is what lies in his DNA as his grandfathers and his father were already masters in this beautiful field. In 2018 he founded MXHM to do exactly that.
